Jump Canada is pleased to announce that the Royal Horse Show in Toronto, ON, will host the 2002 CIBC Canadian Show Jumping Championship in November.


Inquiry Into Death of Two Endurance Horses at WEG

The FEI set up an inquiry to investigate the circumstances of the death of two horses during the Endurance ride of the World Equestrian Games on 16 September 2002 in Jerez de la Frontera (ESP). Sir Fire, ridden by Anna Maxenchs Serra (ESP), died after having completed the course and Floyd, ridden by Nik Isahak Wan Abdullah (MAS), on course during the fourth loop.


Out to Sea Captures the $10,000 NAL Adult Hunter Finals

Shawna Stout of Middleburg, VA and Out To Sea won the $10,000 North American League (NAL) Adult Hunter Finals at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show on Friday. The pair defeated Meghan Garland of Chambersburg, PA, and Swan Lake’s Arox by only one point to claim the title.

Bo Derek will be signing copies of her book Riding Lessons at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair at the Cavalcade of Horses display in Hall A, on Wednesday, November 13th from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. HarperCollins Publishers has generously donated the books, with ALL proceeds going to the Woodbine Racetrack Barn 7 Recovery Fund.
