Leslie Reid

Leslie Reid began riding at the age of two on the family farm and was involved in the Pony Club while growing up, passing her "A" level in 1975.  She attended the University of British Columbia, majoring in physical education.


Belinda Trussell

Born in Sydney, Australia, Belinda Trussell moved spent her childhood living in such exotic countries as Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines, and as nearby as Atlanta Georgia.


Ashley Holzer

Ashley began riding at age 13, receiving instruction from Canadian and West German riding schools. Riding is not her only interest however, as she worked at one point with the Rob Henry Fashion Agency and also developed a Carousel line of clothing and accessories for riders.


Cindy Ishoy

Cindy Ishoy, one of Canada's most successful international dressage riders, began her riding career in Germany as a teenager.  Only a few years later, Cindy's talent was recognized internationally when she was a member of the gold medal team and placed fourth individually at the 1971 Pan Am Games in Cali, Columbia.  A year later she was the youngest equestrian competitor at the Munich Olympics.

Ashley Holzer of Toronto, ON, won the Selection Trial but it was Cindy Ishoy of Jerseyville, ON, who came out on top of the overall standings when the Final Selection Trial for the Canadian Olympic Dressage Team was held Thursday at the Blainville Equestrian Park in Blainville, QC.
