Hawley Bennett and Livingstone Top Canadians at 2005 Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event

Despite poor weather and heavy rain over the weekend, Hawley Bennett, Lesley Grant and Peter Gray all successfully completed the Rolex Kentucky CCI**** held April 29 to May 1, 2005, at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.


Phillip Dutton Wins Chatsworth Horse Trials

Australian Phillip Dutton cruised to victory in the FEI World Cup Qualifier at Chatsworth International Horse Trials (CIC***-W) with The Foreman on 46.2 penalties and also took second place with Hannigan (46.9) after the final cross-country phase at Bouckaert Farm, North Georgia, USA.

FEI Task Force on Doping and Medication Policy

The FEI Task force on Doping and Medication Control held its first meeting in Lausanne December 15, 2004. Chaired by Mr Sven Holmberg (SWE) the Task Force heard submissions from the FEI Legal Department, the FEI Communications department, the Chairman of the FEI Medication Sub Committee Mr Andrew Higgins (GBR), and the Chairman of the FEI Judicial Committee Mr Ken Lalo (ISR).


Coaching the Coaches - George Morris & Leslie Law Share Their Expertise

Two of the world’s most respected horsemen spent three days sharing their knowledge and expertise with coaches and spectators from across Canada, at the Royal Canadian Riding Academy (Cedar Mills, Ontario) from November 19 – 21st. Organized by past-Olympian and level four coach Peter Gray, the weekend ran under the Eventing Canada flag with the support of the OHJA and Jump Canada. The symposium provided a chance to watch some of Canada’s top riders get instruction from two great men, and to draw from their unique coaching styles, taking home ideas to help revamp their own lesson plans for the future.
