Bo Derek will be signing copies of her book Riding Lessons at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair at the Cavalcade of Horses display in Hall A, on Wednesday, November 13th from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. HarperCollins Publishers has generously donated the books, with ALL proceeds going to the Woodbine Racetrack Barn 7 Recovery Fund.

Riding Lessons retails in Canada for $39.50 plus tax, but will be sold at Ms. Derek’s book signing session for $35.00 tax inclusive.

Ms. Derek will also be a special guest of the Royal and will attend the World Cup Grand Prix International Jumping competition presented by Jaguar Canada on Wednesday, November 13th and the Swarovski Canadian League Dressage Final on Thursday, November 14th. While at the Royal, Ms. Derek will also be assisting her Canadian distributor, Cavalier Equestrian to promote her “Bless the Beasts” dog care product.

Ms. Derek is a true animal lover and an avid horse enthusiast. She breeds Andalusian horses and is an accomplished horsewoman.

The Barn 7 Recovery Fund was set up to assist those people affected by the tragic fire August 4, 2002 at Woodbine Racetrack. The funds are being distributed to trainers and backstretch employees for lost wages, tack, feed and equipment, as well as the replacement of personal property.

It’s the 80th Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, the world's largest indoor combined agricultural, horticultural, canine and equestrian event. For 10-days, country sights and sounds fill the National Trade Centre, Exhibition Place from November 8 to 17, 2002. A Canadian tradition since 1922, the Royal is a showcase of the very best in agriculture, horticulture and equestrian sport and a rare opportunity for urbanites to experience a taste of rural life.
