This is the second equine massage clinic designed for horse owners. The introductory clinic is a prerequisite. This is also a 2-day weekend clinic, continuing with the Swedish massage techniques and covering all the stimulating manipulations. Both pre-event massage and post-event massage will also be presented, as will the problem areas typically present on horses.
All course materials are provided with the exception for the anatomy text. You are expected to bring the same anatomy text used in the Introductory Clinic - ‘Horse Anatomy - A Coloring Atlas’ by Thomas Kainer
Comfortable, loose clothing and sturdy footwear must be worn for this clinic. For the safety of all participants and horses, only REACH horses will be used. Participants will not be permitted to bring their own horses to this clinic.
Hands-on sessions will be held in the heated REACH Teaching Barn. Classroom sessions will be held in the REACH Education Centre
